Our Mission
ATAC provides developmental
and operational test and analysis, custom software applications, and
related engineering services in the fields of avionics, aerospace
engineering, support services contracting, and commercial software
development. We are committed to providing the highest quality products
and services to support military aviation missions through
state-of-the-art simulation, modeling, and analysis tools, a highly
qualified technical staff, and a creative, innovative, and responsive,
small company environment.
Capabilities
ATAC is a small, woman-owned
business providing specialized avionics test and analysis services to the 96th
Test Wing at Eglin Air Force Base and the 412th Test Wing at
Edwards AFB. ATAC has grown from a single-person start-up to a major
acquisition prime contractor. ATAC has carefully managed its growth
to preserve its reputation for excellence. With its industry standard
setting professionals, ATAC has repeatedly met difficult technical
requirements and stayed on time and within budget.
ATAC is completely RBA funded, successfully bringing flight test programs and budgets to the Wings we serve
ATAC was founded, and has achieved success, on the premise that systems
engineers trained by the Prime Contractors coupled with computer software
professionals with test experience can provide a tremendous benefit to the
Government’s test and evaluation infrastructure. Most gained that
experience by working as integrators at Boeing, Lockheed, General Dynamics,
Draper Labs, Northrop, and McDonnell Douglas. Their collective
responsibilities included all aspects of electromechanical installation,
communication integration, and follow-on validation of a variety of systems
on their respective aircraft. Of course, to accomplish these tasks well
requires exemplary systems engineering talent. ATAC’s core engineering
group consists of engineers well known in their specialty fields.
Collectively, our engineers have worked through all aspects of the product
life cycle: from initial trade studies to Test and Evaluation through
redesign or replacement. We have the insight required to support Test Wing
initiatives and to bring technical recommendations to fruition by
understanding the funding and planning cycles required.
Mission Focus and Innovation are two keys to ATAC success
Aircraft development testing and analysis is our core business; we know
tactical aircraft, nose to tail, because we work with the systems, pilots,
and manufacturers every day in support of our squadrons. The unique mix of
Prime aircraft manufacturing and large corporation managerial software
experience our management possesses gives us special insight into the test
process. We have earned our reputation of engineering excellence and
innovation by solving real world problems in real world time frames at real
world costs.
ATAC has unsurpassed Tactical Aircraft Avionics Design Experience
ATAC services are performed by a highly experienced technical and
management staff, many of whom have advanced academic degrees and a broad
base of experience in studies, analysis, research, and development projects.
Our professional staff mix is multidisciplinary in character with
backgrounds in engineering, operations research, mathematics, physics,
statistics, computer science, physical science and business. Some key
employees are nationally recognized authorities in their respective fields.
ATAC’s success is based upon a simple management philosophy:
Support the customer’s requirement
